Key Reference Data

The Key reference data window can be accessed by navigating to Business Continuity > Key > Key.

Note: You must have a role with the KeyReferenceData permission to access this window.

Use this reference data to define information about key types.

Key Type reference data

The fields on the Key Type reference data are described in the following table.

This field Holds this information...
Description The description of the key type. This field is mandatory.
Authorisation Role

The secondary level of required for a key request. Authorisation roles can be configured by navigating to Tools  > Admin > User Role/Security. Refer to Add or edit an authorisation role for further information.

If left blank, only budget holder or line manager (single level) approval is required.
Archived Whether the key type is archived.
